World Bleed

This is no ordinary forest fire. This is World bleed, the visible demarcation of the border between our world and theirs. Often such a border is stable. Sometimes these pockets of the Spirit world recede in on themselves. And sometimes, much like a forest fire it so resembles, it will spread ever outwards uncontrollably.

Manifestation

World bleed is characterized by a pulsating "fire" that circumnavigates the entire boundary. This "fire" appears to be pure black and white due to sensory overload. Crossing over the boundary brings with it a wide variety of sensations and extreme emotion, lasting only as long as the crossing.

Localization

World bleed occurs where the Spirit world has collided into, and has begun melding with, our own world. It is a manifestation of the two realities conflicting with each other at the very border, with neither side dominant.
