Creature: Abominable Equecorax

One of the more... extreme examples of the corruption the Spirit world brings. This is no ordinary Equecorax, this is something... else.

Sometimes a wild equecorax has such extreme mutations it becomes something truly horrifying. Such creatures are often wracked by constant pain and torment from their own aberrant bodies, turning a normally amicable creature into a mindless monster. These abominations are aggressive and have little sense of self preservation, typically only living a handful of years before succumbing to injury or exhaustion.

Abilities

Unnatural Presence.

The horrifying visage of this mutated creature strikes terror into the hearts of other animals. Horses and other equecorae instinctively shy away in fear.

• All other creatures with the keywords Horse or Equecorax balk at approaching an Abominable Equecorax, and their rider or handler must pass an Animal Handling check to persuade them to do so.
• All other creatures within 50 metres with the keywords Horse or Equecorax gains a rank of the Frightened condition each round.
• Any creature with 10 ranks or more of the Frightened condition will immediately use its entire turn to flee. It will move its full movement, if able, to move as far away from the Abominable Equecorax as possible.
• All ranks of the Frightened condition gained during an encounter persist until the end of the encounter.
