So, what's the difference between an Android and a Robot.
What's the difference?
There's one big thing that makes the two different and it's the Robots do not try or attempt to replicate the physical appearance of a human. Androids, do attempt to mimic the appearance of a human and only a human. Androids do not immitate the features of other races. They have emotions and the idea of free will installed within them but at the end of the day, similar to robots, they have a mission and taskings built into them. They just follow orders at the end of the day.
How do I play them?
Easy, if you're a robot, you have 0 free will, you don't mean shit except taking orders. Sure you can have a smart mouth or digital screen, but at the end of the day you were built with the intention of following orders and executing them. Robots are just the basics of technology and do what is needed of them to do.
Androids on the other hand tend to be a little more complex. Emotion is key here and it's programmed to immitate human emotions. Sadness, anger are all just programs that occur with your wiring. So for example, a DOLL is meant to be lustful, sexual and loving, at least certain models are. This doesn't mean you have a free will. Oh wait! Kinda, Androids are new on the market and some... bugs have been noted. Some are beginning to question what it means for them to not be human. Some models especially the one's locked away in corporate studies don't even know they're an Android but hey, if you run into issues please report them and contact the original manufacterer.
