Demon

The "Demon" species specifically refers to the invaders from Balakesh.
Balakesh demons differ from the demons of D&D in that they are far more prominent in the world than demons from the varous planes of hell.
Some (very few) Balakesh demons are sufficiently powerful to offer patronage to Warlocks.

Basic Information

Biological Traits

The party has observed ...

• Some demons appear to be fire resistent.
• Some demons (e.g. Lesser Grievecrackles) can be resurrected by a sufficiently powerful demon, at least for a short time.
• Some demons explode after death. This was observed during the kidnapping attempt of Immianthe Faepetor. However, when Riley decapitated one, it did not explode.
• The party observed two killed Lesser Grievecrackles essentially evaporate into black dust upon death.
