The world has long been filled with a wide diversity of dangerous creatures. Knowledge of these beasts were scattered, and the creatures themselves were shrouded in legends and mystery. Tanyath set out to change this, and he spent the vast majority of his life traveling throughout Tamerea, seeking out these fascinating beasts.

Personal history

Born on the 'Floating Archipelago', Tanyath has shown a fascination of creatures big and small since he was a baby. His parents owned a Griffon stable, and would raise and train the beasts as mounts. As soon as he could walk Tanyath would spend all of his time in the stables, for the griffons fascinated him, and he wanted to know everything about them. He would follow his parents around the stables, asking question, after question, until they would shoo him out so they could focus on their chores. They did their best to satisfy his curiosity, but it wasn't enough for Tanyath. When he was shooed from the stables, be would make his way over to were the wild Griffons nested. There he would sneak over to his favorite spot, hidden under a bush, and would watch as the adult griffons tended to their young. He learned a lot about Griffons during those times, and armed with this knowledge he became one of the best trainers on the island.
However Tanyath wasn't satisfied with his life. He knew that the lands down below extended far and wide below the 'Floating Archipelago', and his mind would run wild with thoughts of what kinds of creatures that lived down there. When rumors began to spread that the ban on interacting with the lands down below was being lifted and several research and political teams were leaving the island, Tanyath leapt at the opportunity.
