Story/ World Conflict ideas

Golem Ban

• At some point one of the kingdoms begins to worry that golems will be used in revolts.
• As a result they ban all types of golems (Flesh golems have always been banned)
• Only the military/government is allowed to have golems.
• Farmers fought against this, for clay golems are used by them to help around the farm. If they were banned, the farmers would have to hire workers that needed to be paid.
• The rich didn't like this, for they used metal/stone golems as loyal guards to protect their homes.
• The rich eventually bribe the government to be allowed to keep their golems.

Dwarf and Orc Land Conflict

• Tensions rose when Orcs began mining into mountains and Dwarves began raising livestock on the mountains.
• Both claimed that the other was invading their territory and that they had the right to mine/farm.
• Eventually came to a compromise.

Elven Purists as the True Children

• One group of Elves believe themselves as the true descendants of the 'Ancient Ones' and as a result they were the rightful owners of their knowledge and artifacts.
• They begin stealing artifacts and performing banned magic because it is the 'birth right'

Elves Vs Vampires

• Many Elves rejected their cursed brethren when they tried to return home after escaping slavery.
• Some have gone so far as becoming Vampire hunters to try and rid the world of the Elven disgrace.
• An ongoing issue.

Enslavement of the 'Frog-Folk'

• At one point the 'Small Lizard Folk' discovered that they could harvest the poisonous skin mucous of the 'Frog Folk' and use it for defense/ war.
• They started kidnapping 'Frog Folk as a result'
• The Nagas and 'Large Lizard Folk saw what was happening and came to the 'Frog Folks' rescue since they both respected them.

First Human Empire Vs the World

• Emperor believed it was his divine right to rule over all creation.
• Started raiding and enslaving other races.
• Other races fought back.
• Eventually he was assassinated and a peace pact was created.
• End of the first age.

Main Races and Saurian First Encounter

• Main races were exploring/surveying an ocean and came across an island continent.
• When they went to shore they encountered the 'Raptor Folk'
• Raptor-Folk remembered the stories passed down about the 'Ancient Ones' and recognized the Elves, Humans, Dwarves, etc as their descendants.
• As a result they immediately went on the defensive and drove the intruders away.

Orc-Elf Love Story

• One night a Woof Elf is sabotaged and falls from the canopy to the forest floor.
• They survive but their companions leave them for dead, and return to their village.
• The Elf is too injured to move and is stuck there for several days
• Eventually an Orc tribe is passing through and finds them.
• Area is dangerous, they patch the Elf up and takes them with them.

Pet 'Small Lizard Folk'

• Some Nagas have kidnapped 'Small Lizard Folk' with unusual colors and patterns for the sole reason of keeping them as pets.
• There is now an entire population of these 'S.L.F.'  with unusual colors and patterns.
• Nagas have bred these individuals together to create new colors and patterns.
• These 'pets' are treated better than other 'S.L.F.'

Raised by Wolves

• Baby boy orphaned/abandoned in the woods
• A wild god of the hunt finds him
  • Giant wolf? Amarok?
  • Decides to raise him
• Many years pass
• A religious organization finds him in his early teens
• Kidnaps the child.
• God tries to rescue child, but fails.
• Organization trains the child to be a wild god killer. Convinces him that the god that raised him killed his parents and kidnapped him.
• One day the organization sends him to kill his wild god.
• He agrees, but deep down doesn't want to.
• He and his squad eventually find her and attack her.
• The wild god recognizes the grown up child and doesn't want to fight, but is forced to.
• He eventually lands a fatal blow.
• As she dies she tells him that she forgives him and loves him.
• He lets out an anguished cry as she dies.
• Somehow he becomes a new god of the hunt.
• Hunts down former comrades.

Unnatural Hybrid Creation

• A 'Large Lizard-Folk' and 'Cat-Folk' individual fall in love.
• Lizard's name is Da Duku.
• They want a child but naturally can't have one.
• They seek magical help for this problem.
• A mysterious wizard offers to help and offers to preform a ritual to create a hybrid baby for them.
• Unknowing to the parents this ritual physically combines creatures to create a single creature.
• The wizard sacrifices the parents to create the baby.
• The wizard wipes the baby's memories and raises it.

Vampire Slave Owners

• When the enslaved group of Elves became vampires they rebelled against their slave owners and escaped.
• The slave owners soon realized that the vampires venom had huge economical uses in medicine and alchemy.
• Believing that the vampires still belong to them, they are currently trying to recapture them.
