Spear Inkfish get their name from their long, conical shell, where most of their body hides. All the sticks out from this shell is their big eyes, and tentacles, and when in danger they can pull these extremities back into their shell.

Native to the seas, they often spend most of their time near the ocean floor.

These ambush predators use their tentacles to grab prey.
