Kidnapping of Children with Magical Abilities

With the magical levels increasing across the lands, more and more children where being born with the ability to use this magic. Many people saw the potential these children had, and various organizations raced to be the ones to influence and control them. Reports of child kidnapping increased drastically across kingdoms, for children that were even suspected of having magical abilities were targeted. It was rare for these children to ever be rescued and returned to their parents. Often they were sold to the highest bidder and conditioned to obey their new masters. Many were trained to use their magical abilities to benefit the organization that bought them.
