Anatomy
These hyena-like bipeds stand slightly taller than the average human, and have a hyena-like head and furry body.
Ecology and Habitats
Found mainly in the warm plains, savannas, and deserts of the 'Beast Continent' , the Gnolls spend their days in their fortified surface encampments or underground complexes. At night is when they most active, leaving their camps to hunt or raid the settlements of other kinds of folk.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Mainly carnivores, gnolls hunt for their own food as much as they scavenge and steal the kills of others. Preferring the cover of darkness or thunderstorms, they work together to bring down prey, often ambushing it, and swarming until it goes down.
