The roots of this plant are said to improve one's sexual performance, with the more 'well endowed' plants being worth more. The process to process these roots is a well kept secret and is rather complex, in addition to the plant being rather hard to farm, the final product fetches a high price, and only the rich can afford it.

Conservation Status

Endangered due to demand, so its harvest is regulated.
