  • Fairy markets.
  • Fairy gold - currency.
  • Weapons: Swords, spears
  • Sometimes their goodwill can be problematic.
  • Graceful, sensitive, tactful.

Anatomy

  • Small humanoid.
  • Can magically change size.
  • Have gossamer wings.

Ecology and Habitats

  • Lives in hollow hills or mounds.

Dietary Needs and Habits

  • Vegetarian.
  • Wide, varied diet.
  • Food: Honey, cheese, eggs, berries, fruit, grain, vegetables.

  • Ruled by Faerie Queens. There are kings bt they are more of a consort.
  • All the queens meet up once a year to tell stories, sing, and gossip.
  • Queen has strict discipline of troops and supreme enchanting powers.
  • Rebellious Faeries are exiled by the Queen until they cn complete a task.
  • Males protect home from Pixies and Goblins.

Their language consists of twittering, prattling, and murmuring.

Common Dress Code

  • Fashion conscious.
  • Queens and attendants wear elaborate clothes made of spidersilk and dew.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

  • Compete with Nymphs, Dryads, and Pixies.
  • Stereotypes: Flimsy and insubstantial.
  • Conflict with orchardists, gardeners, beekeepers, and farmers.
  • If farmers and such tolerate tolerate them taking food they will try and help, if not they will make their lives miserable.
  • View humanoids as clumsy and stupid.
  • Love gossiping about humanoid love affairs.
  • Love inspecting humanoid items.
  • Sometimes steal humanoid babies and leave a changeling in its place. Not sure why, many theories.
