Coat of Jaa'aru

This cropped fur coat is known as the Coat of Jaa'aru, given its near mythological begining as a gift to the mage. As the story goes, Jaa'aru had a companion named Neer, an awakened Quesutiri; When the beast was slain in battle, the necromancer Thessa Milt fashioned the coat from its fur. The coat is made of thick light brown and grey Quesutiri fur, the large stripes of the pattern running vertical on the coat. The fit is cropped around the waist and the coat has a series of four buttons along the front, with two exterior and two interior pockets on the breast of the coat.
When attuned to the coat, the wearer can cast Channel Neer once per long rest (2x at 9th level), turning themselves into a Quesutiri possesed by the soul of Neer. They gain the stats of a Quesutiri for up to one hour or upon reaching 0 hitpoints. After reverting from Quesutiri form, the wearer reagains a number of hitpoints equal to their total level. The wearer gains +1 to thier AC and it also allows you to cast Speak with Dead on the Soul of Neer (and Jaa'aru at 5th level), once per long rest.
