The World of Anderium is dark and poor for most folk. Villages are being burned down by invading armies, deserters and bandits are robbing innocent travellers on the road. Currently, the entire continent has been uprooted with a war never seen before that pits a massive all-conquering empire against a multitude of kingdoms and nations who despise them. The war has just begun and looks to not end soon, if the Northembrian Empire has their way. This land is unforgiving and rich in lore and stories.
