The second battle which took place only hours after the first, one which left the North weaker than ever...


As the King was ordering the guard to move back towards Alcove the Northern army came into view. The King rode out with his guard and realised they were cut off, with the hills to the south and the army to the North. They readied to charge the Northerners as they heard the war horns of reinforcements of the crown army, not from Alcove but from the river, small ships had transported almost 12 000 soldiers across from the south. These were provided by the Eastlands, troops secured by the new High Lord Dorran Guidel. Lord Dorran arrived with his army to the kings aid and formed up with the elite Guard. The two sides met on the fields outside the town and a massive battle began, it lasted for several hours, with the North slowly being pushed back and finally calling for retreat. Only when they were falling back did they realise that their Jarl had been lost, captured by the enemy...
