Rally at The Reaching Woods

Military action

As Yarri sought to prepare his forces for the approaching encounter with the Elves, he spoke at the edge of the woods, motivating the army that was now reaching around 6000 soldiers. The force were now equipped with spears, shields and better armour, ready to meet the Elvish force.

Yarri and Jarrak arrived at Yarrin to find out that the Human forces were already gathered and armed. They learned of the Elves gathering at a large town further south called Rinas Mal, quite a large force was gathered and ready to fight, but they had seen the strength of magic and feared they would not be victorious. Jarrak told Yarri that his leadership was needed and the men needed him to lead them to victory, they believed in him.   Yarri and Jarrak organised the army and trained with the soldiers for several months, recruiting more and more people from the growing Human controlled region. Rumour had it that there were Dwarves that actually traded weapons and armour to the Humans, although officially this never happened.   When the time came to leave, after scouts reported back that the Elvish army was preparing to move out north, Yarri called the men together, now the strongest and largest army that had yet been formed. It is now a legendary moment in Human history that Yarri spoke of a day when men would rise above all races, dominate the world they were now fighting for. He spoke of the strength that every Human has to never give up and always fight on. He spoke of the unity of man and how no matter their different locations, they are all Humans.   As the armies marched south Northmen and Southerners cheered and sang together, finally united in their effort to control the continent...
