Robert Falson
(a.k.a. The No-named Knight, The White Knight)
A knight of great respect and reputation. He made a name for himself when he joined the local garrison and at only 15 years old fought against bandits and killed 3. At 20 he killed 2 centaurs in an attack on a royal caravan, earning the favour of the crown. In the next 40 years of service he became of the most respected figures outside of nobility. Robert took the family name Falson after one of his early victories at the now destroyed Falsonder keep.
As he got older the capital wanted him to become a senior member of the military and train new recruits, but Robert had found a happy life in Alcove with a wife Freya and daughter Aija, leading the local garrison and training a smaller force. Recently Robert has had issues with The Kinsmen and had to accept their influence within the town due to the wishes of the Lord.

Personal history
Born in Winter's Edge during the month of Morjok. Robert never knew his father and his mother raised him alone for several years before falling ill and leaving Robert alone. He joined the local garrison like many orphans and soon learnt how to fight properly, he was able to fight on the streets but he learnt respect in service.
Only a couple of years into his service and acting as squire to one of the knights, Robert joined a venture to find a group of bandits, when they arrived the knights were ambushed and forced into a trap setup by the thieves. Half of them were injured by falling spikes and rocks, leaving Robert, his master and 2 other knights to fight off the bandits. The Knights were able to fight them off with relative ease but Roberts master was struck with an arrow. As Robert rushed to his masters defence he fought the advancing bandits. Barely old enough to hold a shortsword Robert stood against the bandits and killed all three, then rushed to help his master until the 2 remaining knights had forced the bandits away. Robert saved his masters life and in turn was allowed to advance his training to become a member of the garrison.
Only 5 years later Robert had made a name for himself as one of the best fighters in the North. He was sent south with Northern Lords to celebrate the birthday of Lord Ashley. When they were leaving he rode at the front and just behind the Royal procession. In a sudden attack centaurs rushed from the woods and cut down many of the royal guards. Robert rode for the carriages and engaged one of the raiders. He stabbed the centaur wounding it fatally but was knocked from his horse. He managed to get atop the carriage and organised the defence of the royal family. His command helped force the centaurs back and, in view of the king, Robert faced a centaur on foot, killing it by cutting it legs and beheading it. This act of courage and show of leadership led to the king knighting him there and then, Robert knelt in the grass at the side of the road and became the youngest knight in history.
As a knight he was needed all over the country, he spent a lot of time in the capital, helping with security, protecting delegations and lords, appearing at parades and events. One of his first commands as a knight was to clear an abandoned keep of Elvish insurgents, Robert led the charge while sending the majority of his force to intercept the retreating Elves. Robert managed to force them to retreat with very few soldiers and dispatched of the enemy without losing a single man under his command. The story became a favourite for the feast halls and courtrooms, leading Robert to take a family name-Falson, after Falsonder Keep.
Robert learnt to accept but dislike the politics and extreme wealth, having grown up very simply and with nothing. Nevertheless he fought bravely and served the crown well for many years. He led attacks on bandits, centaurs and was the mind behind much of the fighting with The Liberty Privateers towards the end of the century. After that no one could doubt his skill with a sword or his honour, choosing to let all who would surrender live, against the wishes of the politicians of the capital.
As soon as he got a chance he took a permanent post in the North, in the town of Alcove. He was asked by the king to remain in the capital but many wanted him gone, as Robert had become and honest and honourable adviser, often going against what the more manipulative ones wished.
Only a year into his post he met his future wife Freya and they had a daughter only 2 years after that.

Robert in later years has been seen by some to have gone soft due to his family, but many who know him know this is very false.
