Yaskoydray and the Reapers

The history of the Reapers and the Anceints reaches far back into history. The Reapers are much older than Yaskoydray. They have been a species for a Billion years where Yaskoydray is about 300,000 years old. That is what the science says anyway.
Explorers of the Ancients found out that the Ancients are much older than the 300,000 years current theories hold to. Dr. Ralith Baneson has studied the Droyne and Ancient art through many Psionic Dreams. Within them he has found that the Ancients were in fact about 300,000,000 years old. Though he is an archeaological authority, since his knowledge was not acquired through scientific means, the community is having a hard time accepting this.
300,000 years ago the Ancients were at their height. Many hundreds of thousands of years before that the Reapers were discovered by Yaskoydray and the ancients. Yaskoydray discovered them when they were attempting to build a Mass Relay somewhere in the Regina system. The ancients were superior in technology even to the Reapers, even though the Reapers were much older. The Ancients were easily 10 TL above the Reapers. The Reapers were mercilessly slaughtered by the Ancients.
Yaskoydray was able to track some Reapers down in Deep space and destroyed many enclaves of them, but was never successful in tracking down the “Intelligence”. The reapers immediately recognized the ancients as a threat, but Yaskoydray understood even with his technology en masse the Reapers could destroy him.
The events of the Final War of the Ancients was due to the Reapers. Yaskoydray sent a summons to his offspring to join him against the Reapers. Many but not all of his offspring joined him. This was not enough to defeat the Reapers, but it was certainly enough to force them out of charted space. The power of the ANcients and their effectiveness at Destroying reapers forced the Reapers to accept a treaty. Yaskoydray set up Boundaries for space where the Reapers were not allowed to build Mass Relays. Charted space was safe from the Reapers but for two sectors. Aldebaren and Wovoka. These Mass Relays were created even before they started construction on the Regina Mass Relay.
Perhaps this mass Relay would have been found if the Final War did not occur. But the Ancients were involved in Destroying themselves and did not pay attention to the Mass Relay so close to Terra. Indeed they did not even know it existed. Grandfather fought a clean war leaving many ancients sites, but this Final War proved to break the power of the Ancients on CHarted Space. Fortunately the Reapers did not know this. The Cycle took many revolutions in CItadel Space before the Solomani found the Mass Relay at Home (Aldebaren 1009).
