Requisition Hall
History
The Requisition Hall of Wistross, established over three centuries ago, was initially a modest marketplace where students could trade mundane items and basic magical ingredients. As the Magical School of Wistross grew in prestige and size, the hall expanded both in structure and purpose. Now, it boasts towering marble arches and a sprawling marketplace where students advertise services, such as potion brewing or spell casting, in exchange for requisition points or gold. Historical events, such as the Great Alchemical Surge and the Elemental Binding Ceremony, have seen the Hall transform into a hub of vibrant, magical activity. The Hall's most notable upgrade came after the Arcane Accord, allowing students to access a vault of powerful artifacts through the new system of requisition points, fueling both academic and adventurous pursuits within the school's hallowed halls.
Climate
The Hall is magically climate-controlled, offering a comfortable and stable environment irrespective of the outdoor weather. With ambient light enhancements, it maintains a warm and inviting glow that adjusts to the time of day.
Notable Landmarks
Key landmarks within the Hall include the grand bulletin board enchanted to dynamically display advertisements, the Gilded Counter where transactions are mediated by automaton clerks, and the Vault of Wonders, a heavily warded chamber containing the school's repository of magical artifacts.
