The Lost County

There are many legends as to the origin of the Lost County. Some say it is a mighty spell that misfired, dooming its caster. Others say that it was a community of sages that has opted out of the wars and plagues of the world. All agree however that while this small region of bucolic fields and woods can be seen from the rest of the High Kingdom, it seems strangely uninhabited, and those that enter it rarely, if ever return.
