Iron Island

Iron Island lies in the Azure Sea.  Once an unremarkable volcanic island, it was settled by part of the naval forces of the dwarven kingdom of Relkarth after the Great Rebellion.  They have converted it into an impregnable fortress - the entire island is now walled in stone and iron, and a great armoury - slaves labour night and day in its forges to make ships and weapons. Its inhabitants are feared pirates throughout the Azure Sea, their iron-clad galleys capable of throwing balls of flame at enemy ships.  They have become a serious problem for all commerce upon the Azure Sea, but reserve especial attention for the fleets and ships of Relkarth.
