Irisimas, the god of inevitability, is killed after a trial after he creates the Embodiment. His body becomes the island there.

Irisimas peered into the many futures, the many likelihoods. There are many inevitabilities, but not as many as one would expect. In this small, single fairy tale universe, safely tucked away behind the Wall, there were enough to keep him busy. Except for eventually, he found The End. It was just a couple of words in the middle of a page, but it meant something horrible. The stories ended. As this is a fairy tale world, the it needs the stories to exist. Without the stories, the world dies. So he created The Embodiment. Stories are founded upon conflict, after all, and the ultimate, hypersimplified conflict of good versus evil is the foundation of pretty much all stories. And so he made a creature that fed off both good and evil. If fed enough of one or the other, the creature would rise and start shit until enough strife or unity existed to weaken it and then enough to bring it down after that.   Because the problem is that evil is self-destructive, to the point of extinction; but good is self-perpetuating and with too much of it, everything stagnates, nothing develops, because nothing changes.   So, the creation of the embodiment.   And the other gods didn't appreciate this much, and so they struck him down, leaving his body to solidify as an island in the ocean as a warning.
