Corruption

A condition by many names, it is the state of one who has been in contact with the parasitic substance the Cat calls The Darkness, a crude-like substance that happens as a toxic product of primal and divine energy mixing.

The substance causes a hunger that cannot be sated, a rage that will never assuage, and a physical condition perpetually near death. The body will waste away, grow boils or blisters, developing leprosy-like symptoms, or simply fatiguing away into a terminal nap.
