Angels support American public school integration

Angels publicly protected members of the Little Rock Nine as they attended school in Little Rock Central High School.

Angels made their opinions known clearly during the 1950s and 60s about the integration of American public schools. Whenever white people protested the attendance of black students, angels counter-protested. Most visibly, they escorted students into the Little Rock Central High School and stood guard over them during the school day.
