Soviet troops liberated the Nazi concentration camp of Majdanek, accompanied by 57 angelic volunteers.

In 1944, 57 angelic volunteers--three with advanced cases of Wasting Fall--accompanied Soviet troops in the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp. The angels fought alongside the Soviet troops as well as rendered assistance to the prisoners found there.   Near the end of the day, the angels gathered around the camp's gas chambers and began to sing. Their volume increased until the foundations of the building crumbled and the chambers were obliterated. One angel died in the process and the rest spend the following three days grieving and mourning at the site for the human lives lost.
