eserki
Eserki translates into English as "squad-mate."
Qualifications
Eserkim are assigned to the same eserbe or squad.
Benefits
Eserkim become like a found family during service together. Some have described it like the "war buddy" bond present in human culture.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
When eserbehim are broken up due to loss of members and reassigned to other units, the members of the former squad are expected to reattach their bonds to the new eserbe. Sometimes, this causes internal stress in a mixed eserbe between those present initially and those who have transferred in.
Cultural Significance
Eserki is a concept exclusive to regimental angels. There is no analog in Edenic society, as they are non-military and the "beth" or family replaces the "eser" or squad.
Notable Holders
In the NAAF, 8th Company, 7th Squad, all members of the squad consider each other eserkim. While also their superior officer, Sarael is also considered an eserki to his squad members.
