Gnoll

A nomadic hyena humanoid race with a disposition for violence. First created by a hyenas drinking Yeenoghu‘s blood, on one of his rampages on the mortal plane, they have an innate urge to eat sentient flesh. They do not find glory in fighting and will actively look for weaker targets.

There are currently 2 ways gnolls can replenish their numbers. The first is in the traditional sense. The second is by casting demonic magic on a slain corpse and feeding it to a hyena. Which will then go into a feeding frenzy and with bloat and burst/ birth an adult gnoll.

While many gnolls will eat the bones of their prey, they carefully save those of their fallen to rise as gnoll witherings.
