Vfnir

A cold northern country, set around the Ozark mountains and the Bvoont forest.   The biggest city at the southern part of the country is Edoras, but this cannot claim the title of capital as this area is a loose confederation of Vfnir tribes.   To the North the tribes are linked to the giants, some to the clans of the Werebears of Vfnir , and to the Were Sabre tooth tiger clan of Vfnir , and the werewolves, 3 powerfull clan groups that hold sway in the northern reaches.   They have mixed religions around the Norse gods, Odin, Thor, but also the moon and the twilight gods, supposed to have a kingdom on the darkside of the moon.   There are rumoured to be ruins of Dwarves, Dark Elves, and even hobbits in parts of the northern Ozark mountains.   Old tales talk of other creatures that were destroyed many hundreds of years ago, how ever after the conflict in Pentnilton tales of the presence of creatures such as Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, but also ancient evils - devils and demons appearing. The anncient hold of Cor Angalaladh is rumoured to be home to 1 such evil creature, a place shunned by anybody respecting the Gods....it is cursed   There is even the tale of a Dragon having taken up ownership of an ancient empty mountain fortress and driven the strange giant bear creatures called Firbolgs out destroying or eating most of this race   They are shy of the country Pentnilton, but tribes have raided this country, rich with its grain.   The tribes also have no rest with the strange beast like Picts to the west.   The people are very war like and death in battle is seen as an honour and a way to the afterlife.   The federation is also riven with rife as each clan vies for ascendancy, though they do have a crude form of honour, and life (and lives) are respected and needed.   Wood is the main source of building and trade, but the lands are also rich in iron, gold, silver and stone, tar etc.   The people are clever, but also have Priests/shamans, healers and Druids but a few strange mortals travel to either Ticonderoga for further training in the outwordly skills of magic,
