Save the lord of Linhir 5.6.2023

General Summary

The party finish slaying the tribesman and lords guards on the top of the tower, while The Master - a Balgura demon escapes invisible down the tower - the party then heal up after taking some significant hits.
Twitch then checks the next level down, dropping onto the veranda/balcony and checks out where the king is, as the main level is guarded with 4 guards and a knight. He also notices that a shaman is with the Lord The party
They launch there attack from 2 sides, but the shaman summons a column of holy fire onto Herasger . They quickly deal with the shaman though before Lord Argy - Argirion of Linhir hits them with his holy sword... and again does a lot of damage. However Ciro Freya Alexandrin , Twitch and Yumi bundle the lord, and tie him up and stick him in a sack and take him back to the temple of Ra with Bishop Angelo and his acolytes, dropping down on the outside of the tower.
They message Saphire, wizard and companion of Merlin and meet her at the temple rather than her dropping into a trap in Argys tower, which the party also averted.
Dispelling the spell that gave The Master control over Lord Argy, they are then welcomed as hero's, gain a level, gain some gold, and the gift of a magical item via Saphire.
The master sails off on the ship back home, escaping from this disaster.
The town then gets over the events with the hero's ready to sail off into the caverns
They do get a gift though - an old symbol of the drow - a spider amulet (Lesser amulet of lloth to show they are friends with the Drow, well some of the houses anyway, as they prepare there trip to Erelhei Cinlu
