The party enters the cavern of Vulcan, the god looking at the ornate double doors spelling out the warnings not to enter without an invitation or a suitable gift.
On looking across this mile wide chamber, the party see a long 3 foot wide causeway heading off to Vulcan's palace.
This spans across a large lake bubbling and hissing as steam rises up from the lava flows bubbling up from below and coming out of the walls and ceiling.
Looking up the ceiling is almost out of site, in the dark steamy, hot, humid atmosphere, with startling movement rising up, as what appears to be forms of fire and water writhe about and rise up....a very alien and disturbing environment which has very limited vision.
Feelings of being watched, and the belief they could be attacked from above or below at any moment on the narrow walkway, Jazzjar decides to take the party wind walking across to the palace.
Jazzjar gets inspiration.
Arriving at this top level of the palace, a large open structure, open to the heat and moisture, the party are welcomed by the gate guardians, a Fire giant and two great fire elementals.
Forming back to physical form, the party are taken through to an anti chamber to wait on the dwarf Flamen the Dwarven Bishop and the Fire Giantess who would help guide the party
At this point the party note a twin and new Afkaria has appeared and followed them into the anti chamber, then, he runs off being recognised by the group as an imposter and likely Gorthir, Half Troll Half Demon, wields famous magical Hammer of the Underworld .
Initially being accused by the Fire giant guardian of assisting Gorthirs entry, Zinzir convince both him and him mistress of the need to hunt Gorthir, as they have been sent there to track and kill him, and that the group is favoured by Vulcan.
At this point Ajax Firestorm, Red Dragon, Ancient glides over and unleashes a fire storm on the neighbouring anti chamber
Jazzjar noting the place where Gorthir dimension doored to as he also went invisible, identifies his trail. Zinzir gets the details and location of the vault from the fire giant mistress.
Zinzir gets inspiration.
Zinzir also believes that Ajax is being used as a distraction to allow Gorthir to raid the treasury of Vulcan, Hephaestus 
Ajax flies around before then unleashing hell on the party who are running to get to the lower levels of vulcan's palace.
Milo takes his potion of Haste and moves off quickly.
Ajax picks up Jazzjar, biting him and carrying him off into the distance...
