Moloch part 27, town of Corn and the lost Kane

The party enter the rich town of Corn, in search of nnformation on Kane.
The town is alive with travellers, and factions.
Camped outside is a force under the banner of Prince Grendal of Fornost, under his banner his Lord Halfdan Prince Grendals son, with 100 men, and the Priest of Justice chief inquisitor Arundel
Equally in the town you recognise Merlin the wizard, who has an apprentice Sapphire a female wizard you recognise, in the Starlight tavern, people you know supported Princess Crystal.
The party also recognise the wagon of the dentist and Jade, obviously plying there trade, but which trade, they could be there working for Halfdan...
Also a group of Vfnir mercenaries and also a pair of rangers from the Rammas marshes are seated at tables in the Starlight tavern,
The place has a tension that can be cut with a knife
Corn
Playing around @Arranis sits down with the Paladin, a merc and the 2 rogues, 1 being the assasin, Meanwhile Zinzir Frost  discovers that Merlin the Wizard  is in town with his apprentice
Milo Tealeaf, Halfling Samuri Fighter and A114 Warforged Warlock  join the dentist and Jade who advise them they should not be there
Jazjar Firebolg Druid, Circle of the Moon 
Afkaria, Dwarf Paladin talks to the mercs,
When Halfdan Lord Grendal of Tharbad and his sons Halfdan and Halga and Arundel, chief Inquisitor of the priest of Justice enter with there guards
A114 inadvertently freezes Jade, while also stopping some bad spells, while Barry clears out the rear of a knight and an acolyte.
Arranis turns the assassin into a turtle, before he is turned back and escapes out the window
A ruck starts A114 goes down, Arundel is nearly down but gets out of the front door with assistance and is then healed.
Halfdan cuts through the mercs, before taking out A114, and starting on Milo.
However some nuclear spells and fun later Zinzir and Arranis escape from thevfront as Milo, A114 and Afkaria stand at the rear as the knights start to burn downbthe Tavern.  It does not look like Arundel and Halfdan aim to leave anybody alive, and could be making this an example for possible followers of princess Crystal,
The 3 amigos then get out the rear only to half a dozen giants walking down the road...
