Mace of Hellfire

This is a legendary artefact wielded by Abaddon
Rumours suggest that this was created in the depths of time by a Arch Devil who slew a Demon Lord and embodied him into this item to allow him to reconnect to his home world while he was trapped on earth.
The item channels Hellfire from this Devils home world by forming a small portal between the 2 points and allows this fire from Hell to literally surge through blasting an area and making the wielder feel at home. It also potentially opens a gate between the 2 places that would allow the wielder to move between places.
The portal can can only be opened for travel once a month, but Hellfire can be channelled through thrice daily, in a 30 foot radius, making the area a furnace...
This weapon is huge and needs a large creature to wield it, is intelligent and has its own personality, made of Eorg and is amazingly light in weight.
It is +3, and does fire damage...and also as above allow the summoning of hellfire and opens gates...
