The party arrive in Linhir at Helgas magic store magic store, where on discussion other a nice cup of tea Helga tells that all sorts of people are in town, traders from Koth, traders from Stygia, parties from Aquilonia and Pentnilton, even strange looking knights. She also tells them that elephants will be arriving soonfor Princess Crystal, elephants who would believe it..Still boys would you like a nice cup of tea, I have this little herbal brew that has just come in, got from a strange dark gentleman, a very nice man, did I say man - not sure he was a man, but he was very nice, asking after you he was...
The party take there leave and head to the tavern. The tavern is very full, with strangers present, and the place is very noisy and filled with people from the world over. Different accents, languages, smells and many a dark look. They over hear many stories being told, rumours of elephants, ships from Koth and Stygia and mercenaries down from the North... strangers and shadows, the world is a strange and menacing place..
Across in 1 corner the area is now unnaturally dark, and hackles start to rise on the customers including Jammy the Juggler, signalling time for customers to run forbit
Twitch looking round starts to note that there a number of eyes on them, and that enemies abound in the bar. This is reinforced as Sligh the street urchin tugs at Ciros trousers to issue him a warning that there are people asking after the party and that they are in this Inn, they should leave he whispers.
At this point 3 large Northerners who have been eyeing the party stand up and pick up there large axes, with their priest of Justice starts a Bless spell,
The party rise to the challenge, with Ben Dar starting his own Bane spell cancelling out the Bless. Some combat is followed by Twitch sneaking into the corridor, but behind a door opens and 3 warriors of Koth step out with a shaman....
The world foes temporarily white as a hail storm is summoned, Haresgar fails a save vs hold person, however the parties full battle prowess is on display now.
The party cut through the Northener's and the warriors of Koth, before being set on by the warlock and the death knights, with Alfie firing in a fire ball before teleporting out at the site of the warlock of the demogorgon with her 2 lesser death knights joins the fight...,though 1 throws his sword on the floor in a tantrum as he fails to slay these freaks outright...
