Heragers Day, Hero of Aquilonia

General Summary

The party leave as the sun rises, following Saphire, wizard and companion of Merlin and following her to the secret tunnel that winds its way under the outer walls of Blackwall
Hoping to merge into the locals they aim to fullfill there task to undercover evidence that Susan, Queen Zenobias advisor is not who she says she is, and may have control over Queen Zeobia or at least is pulling the strings in the construction of the huge monument outside the city.
The party appear by the well, and split into 3 groups, with Aunt May and Twitch heading to the kitchens to hear any gossip
Meanwhile Herasger and Yumi head to the halls where the knights are having breakfast while recounting there dead's and prowess
Lastly Ciro Freya Alexandrin wanders the court yard, searching out the nooks and crannies while listening out for news and details of events to come.
Very quickly Aunt May and Twitch find gossip and information on the weird nature of Susan, Queen Zenobias advisor , and her keeping snakes that need feeding with mice, however Aubnt Mays attempts to persuade the cooks does not find much favour and the situation then gets worse as Twitch is caught stealing food. Immediately the guards are summoned and castigate the crying Twitch, telling him of his need to clean the stables for the coming evenings....
Meanwhile Herasger (rolls natural 20 persuasion) immediately finds great favour and friendship with the knights in the main hall, including Sir Athur . Finding all about the rumours about Susan and the queen Zenobia - including her current state, the king, details of the location of Susans quarters and her weird habbits, and about her bodyguard.
Meanwhile Ciro listens to the local gossip, picking up plenty of information, but also noting Susan and the body guard Tenser, body guard of Queen Zenobia heading out of the castle to check the preparations for the event and check that the statue is being built correctly. He learns they will be away for about 8 hours till 3 to 4PM. He also picks up from foot marks and shadows that Tenser seems to be a Gargoyle shaped individual, not as his current image of a huge knight portrays.
The party collect there thoughts and make there move to raid Susan's apartments, with only Twitch and Aunt May getting past the guards watchfull eyes. They slide into the Susans room, feed the snakes, put out the smoking candles and search the room. Finding limited information in this first room (bedroom), Twitch unlocks the next door having taken the ring of Set, to support his access - inspired action, and he then with a natural 20 on his slight of hand to get out of the room, past the snakes with all items, letters from Thoth Amon praising "Shadow" - Susan for how well he has undertaken his mission, and having got and trapped queen Zenobias soul in the soul stone, in the magical box that he has slipped into his pocket.
Twitch quickly exists, rendezvous with the party, and agree that they must act. Twitch and Yumi head to meet Saphire at her home - House Ajaar in the castle walls, while the others under Herasger rally the troops to rescue the queen. Herasger provides a magnificent rallying speech, 
"Brothers, sisters, hear me. I have been told of a deadly plot against our queen. Using dark magic her advisor Susan has bewitched our queen, controlling her to impose the will of Susans dark master from the South.

The evidence lies in the queens chamber, our queen herself. Rare has she been seen, and on the those few times has looked little more than a walking corpse.

Even now my companions race to seek aid to heal our queen, but we must buy them time. We must guard our queen, cast down Susans supporters, and stop her from causing more evil.

Brothers, sisters, do you stand with me? Let your shields defend the innocent, swords cut down the wicked. Let us oust this evil from the land.

Are you with me?"
He immediately wins round Sir Arthur and a group of knights who follow him - another purely inspiring moment, and head to fight the royal guards who try to prevent access to the royal apartment despite Sir Arthurs and Haresgers pleas.
