The Zantorous Consortium is a collection of many different loan sharks, mob leaders, smugglers and other various criminals. The Zantorous have allies all over the known world and many different hideouts and bases. While not a empire, they do exert a great deal of control and influence on the other world powers. Generally they prefer time of peace as that there are less soldiers around which makes their illegal activities much easier to get away with. Of course, war is profitable and if enough conclave members vote in favor of assisting once side, the sale of their exotic weapons, poisons and other materials can make Zantorous very rich.

Structure

At the top of the chain is the Grand Conclave, which is composed of 9 of the most powerful leaders of the criminal underground. 
The regional crime lord is called the Profetorin, and they control the region until the next Zantor, or safehouse
If a city is large enough or propersous enough to warrant Zantorous influence a special low ranking agent is sent to manage influence inside the city. These agents are known as the Prestegeax (Press tee gee axe).
