Atar, also know as The Bright Lord, is the head of the Order of the Nine values justice, truth, and selflessness above all else. As such, he despises the lich Vecna and the two are constantly fighting unseen proxy wars. Atar rules from the ethereal plane of Mount Celestia.

Personal history

Atar was one of the originally mortals who helped the dragons defeated the primordial elementals. For his great deed of heroism he was granted a small part of the dragons power along with the other members of the nine. After being granted his godhood he set removing the chaos and ruin left behind by the cataclysmic fight between the elementals and the metal dragons. As the metal dragons slowly departed from the world, leaving only a few of their kind behind, he was voted to be the leader of theOrder of the Nine
