Tree Skin
- Demon claws
- Demon teeth
- Unstable forces
- Severe high temperatures in the enclosed Gaps at Amin Duum Exclusion Zone and Rad Ruinn Exclusion Zone
- Severe low temperatures at exposed Gaps in Rad Ulgesh Exclusion Zone, Nas Trinitar Exclusion Zone, Rad Amaya Exclusion Zone, and Am Rune Exclusion Zone.
We in the Textile Research Bashi have a long history of developing textiles that are suited to these highly varied environments. Bashi in the exposed Gaps have been sharing knowledge and research have been leading the field in providing better, more comfortable clothing for Warriors and Watchers, especially in Nas Trinitar, where the conditions are particularly tough.
We are pleased to report that our work on "Tree Skin" has now improved both the heat dissipation and protective effects, which will be good news for Warriors currently Serving in Amin Duum and Rad Ruinn.

Physical & Chemical Properties
Tree Skin is a fabric with a leather-like appearance and texture constructed using fibres from the Banyan Tree System. During the Age of Chaos, when the Gaps beyond Amin Duum Exclusion Zone were tearing open and we were still learning what most affected the unstable forces we were attempting to manage, we quickly discovered that using conventional leather made toxicity levels worse. Killing animals is now highly restricted in all Exclusion Zones, and leather only taken from animals that have died of natural causes.
As a result, all textiles are taken either from plants or animals in a manner that is safe and humane. We also began working with fundamental forces to combine, adapt, and improve the textiles we had in order to make them more suitable. We also have to ensure that any material taken from the Tree does not harm the Tree itself. Tree Skin was developed using carefully harvested fibres from the Great Tree in each Zone. Textile art bashi in each zone have been able to adapt Tree Skin to each Gap, so that Warriors no longer have to rely on wearing material in an unsuitable environment.
The Tree Skin we now present to the Central Amnari Conference of Textile Arts, Research and Development Bashi has been refined to provide additional heat dissipation using anadised bands running through the length of the fabric. This has the additional effect of reinforcing the Tree Skin and reducing the impact of demon claw and teeth attacks during Gap fights. Finally, the bands are easy to adapt to the low temperature environments of exposed Gaps, especially in the high mountain zones of Nas Trinitar and Rad Ulgesh. Some improvements are still needed to ensure that this new form of Tree Skin has the durability to provide warmth for long fights and attendance at Nas Trinitar.
