Wylfen Keeper Blade

The Wylfen Keeper Blade is a short sword that glows with a low light white light. Two sockets rest in the hilt of the sword and when fitted with diamonds the sword can house the essence of two wolves which can be summoned to the wielder's side at a moment's notice.
As an action, the wielder can summon two wolves within 30ft. The summoned creatures are friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which has its own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to them, they defend themselves from hostile creatures, but otherwise, take no actions.
The wolves can be returned to the weapon as a bonus action. The wolves immediately return to the weapon if they travel more than 120 feet from the weapon.
The souls of the wolves are bound to the diamonds. If the wolves die the diamonds shatter and must be replaced. The sword sill operates with a single diamond, but only one wolf can be summoned until the second diamond is added. The diamonds must be of 500gp value or higher and cut to fit the sockets.
