Thoth

Thoth is an Ancient lawful good god. He is most commonly known as the God of Scribes and God of Time. People will call him the God of Balance or Equilibrium as well.
It is said that Thoth is the god who brought the calendar to the world making the moon behave as he saw fit.
He is most commonly seen as a creature with a man's body and a the head of an ibis.

The Book of Thoth is a mythical magical book that is said to contain all the secrets of the universe. Wizards often seek this tomb believing that the one who reads it will become the most powerful wizard on any plane. The belief is, however, that such knowledge would drive a mortal to insanity if they were to actually read it.
