The Roadsmen are a headless organization of regional locals who watch over the roads travelled by merchants and travellers between the unguarded towns of Amerielle. This loose membership and focused group has drawn the attention of many vagrants. Most who sign up to be Roadsmen start as sellswords, fences, and thieves. They don't end up too far from where they started. Most are quite happy to make sure the travellers pay their "tolls" or request their services. Those who don't realize how much they needed the watching eye of the Roadsman.
Still, if you're looking for someone to protect you, stab a man, steal a trinket, or learn a fact - there are no better than the local Roadsman.
