What are you so afraid of? Death. Life. One provides all with the same experience. Look at this world, ask yourself if you've improved it, or if you're the rain. Drip. Drip. Drip. Can one reason with a volcano? If so, that is what reasoning with Bodom is. He is the embodiment of the destructive forces of the earth. Volcanos, earthquakes, tsunamis. These are his children. Those and the elementals.
Life, for Bodom, is too chaotic. Perhaps at one point, he could have understood it. A child is born of a mother and father (or in the case of Nuai father-mother-mother-surrgati) and is a concoction of the two. This random nature is more than he cares to endure. His world of order has no random traits, it is controlled. For Bodom. The world is controlled, humanity is not.
Bodom considers the world to be his realm but considers life to be chaotic and unbecoming of the realm. He desires to wipe all life from the face of the planet and replace it with elementals, especially the fire elementals which he considers his truly greatest creations.
Bodom however, knows that the destruction of life is a long game. He knows that he has to out maneuver the other gods in the material realm. As such, he has amassed humanoid followers to help execute his will.

Bodom is said to be the one who gave the sharkst heir teeth. Once gentle beasts only looking to help make the way through kelp for other animals, Bodom gave them the teeth and the bloodlust that triggered when they first drew blood.

War I - the way the world began. The world began in violence after Saagael brought in Chaol through R'lea. The seas boiled and Mystra was brought in to organize the chaos and hte evil into something. These things were not good or bad, just ways of looking at it.

War II - The battle for the races and the continent Once they organized things the children were created, each born of a truce of some kind. They created their own kin and the kins

War III Good and Evil and love. Something they were able to get from creatures that they'd never felt. People chose them and that created a new need. The organization of strict ways to look. a shunning of other things and a winning over the new dieties

Bodom is the evil God of Earth. He demands sacrifice. He is the blight that settles upon the world. He's the one who bleaches the coral the one who creates creatures to infest forests. And is the bane of all druids and tree-loving folk. He is the sinkhole of the gods sucking up life and replacing it with a crater. Lawful evil. He is the god of the Deurgar.
