Gumbi Mare (a.k.a. Powder)
Gumbi is the daughter of one of the most famous adventurers in the Merrow Crescent and Guidewind Corporate. As soon as Gumbi was of age, she joined the Guidewind to follow in her mother's footsteps, having idolized her due to the stories and fame she grew up with. Gumbi thought it would be fun, that people would probably recognize her and want to be friends.
She quickly realized that her family's fame was a bane, not a boon. A good few people in the Guidewind, especially new people, saw her as only getting in due to who her mother was. Those same people nipped at every promotion or accolade she earned, only citing it as pure nepotism, as if this posh kid with a gun could ever compare to the champion that was her mother. Being mired by her mother's shadow wherever she went was getting old, and dealing with people who didn't believe in her merit was getting old. Gumbi had enough! She made a rather explosive exit out of the Guidewind before heading off on her lonesome to make a name for herself and escape her mother's shadow.
