Paravale's Err

In a decisive defeat in the years following the Black Crusade's, General Reiner Paravale attempted to transport legions of Crownsguard and Wardens beyond the frontier to face the Shade and its horrors head-on. Now, crashed dirigibles lie like scorched skeletons across a charred battlefield. This was to be a great victory – the first since the Crusades – but humanity’s power turned against them, and the fire they wielded scorched the skies.
