Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Pompom is usually dressed in her full black-and-purple vicious ringleader outfit, complete with frills on the wrists and spikes in places they probably don't belong. She is rarely, if ever, seen without her wide-brimmed witch hat, which her tall horns helix around perfectly. A single jingle bell hangs loosely from the tip of the hat. The top half of her face usually isn't visible, save for the piercing purple glow of her artificial eyes. She seemingly always has a feverish grin on her white-painted face. She is tall with a slim-yet-imposing frame. A large wind-up key protrudes from her back, which is constantly rotating.

Personal history
Pompom was an excitable bookworm when she was younger, spending a great deal of her time working on her automatons. She discovered, using a reinvented take on antiquated wind-up toy technology, that she could make robots that operated for hours at a time without the need for fuel. She went about giving them basic personalities and teaching them to do tasks, but found herself to be somewhat directionless and occasionally lacking in motivation. One day, one of her automatons accidentally punched her in the face, and, with the adrenaline quickly kicking in, she punched it back. She then got into an enthusiastic fistfight with the machine, leading her to realise her love for violence and pain. From that day forth, she knew exactly what her calling was, and set out to create the perfect pit-fighting frenemies. Something was missing, though - the automatons didn't actually feel anything, they just acted like they did. So, she found reasons to fight other people, and set up a pit-fighting ring that eventually evolved into the flagrantly bloody Vandal's Carnival. Her impetuously violent lifestyle took a severe toll on her body; she had each of her eyes gouged out on two separate occasions, and suffered severe trauma to her internal organs. Luckily, her experience with robotics allowed her to repair the damage, although her niche field of expertise meant that she had to install a wind-up key on her back, which must constantly be winded to keep her bionic organs from failing. She can remove the key for a few hours at a time before her organs start shutting down. Nowadays, she doesn't fight as much, but still finds great enjoyment in her job as ringmaster of the Vandal's Carnival.
Employment
She runs The Vandal's Carnival, a travelling circus which specialises in highly dangerous stunts and brutal ring fighting. Trolls and humans alike are pitted against each other, and Pompom's signature wind-up automatons, in vicious hand-to-hand combat, chasing the promise of glorious prizes. Pompom is the ringmaster and owner of the Carnival, and spends much of her time as an announcer and commentator during these bouts of violence.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Pompom is a very skilled fighter, specialising in hand-to-hand combat and combat where she wears her battle pom-poms, (which are really just spiked metal balls that she wears over her fists.) She is a talented roboticist and engineer, and is quick to find arguably unconventional--yet effective--solutions to everyday problems. She is charismatic and commanding, and knows how to make people laugh--and how to make them suffer.
