Lawkeepers of Diana

Location: Headquartered in Midmorning, Asteria

During the colonization, the Lawkeepers of Diana was almost completely wiped out, a result of being one of the two religious groups that fought to oppose the Empire's claim. At the moot immediately following the surrender at Marriner's Rest, the Lawkeepers were stripped of their holy charge of overseeing the law and meting out punishment for offenders. A large push to exile the cult from the new colonial region, as had been done with many who fought against the empire, was ultimately stopped. For a decade and a half, the Lawkeepers only existed on the fringes of the new society until nine years ago an open invitation for any Lawkeeper to settle in Midmorning was issued by Princess Cornellia. The reason for such an invitation is the cause of endless speculation, but as of yet, the Princess has not made her intentions public.
