Government
The municipality of Lakemoor is a mayor-council type government. The city is run by a local lord, Galvyn Young, who is fairly new and wet behind the ears.
Defences
The city proper is built upon an island off the coast of the lake, where a single bridge connects the mainland to the city. The bridge itself cannot be raised, but it is a solid stone bridge, and there is a heavy presence of mages who can destroy it in a pinch. There are strong stone towers based around the island, and the part of the town that bleeds onto the lake shore is surrounded by a stone wall with two large gateways.
