Holy Books & Codes
The Lexica Botania - This bright green leaf bound book details all things under Melora's Domain, it details her sacred plants, her sacred groves, her sacred rituals and how to preform them. This book also details a brief history of the Wildmother and her influence on the world, however that is not what this book is primarily about.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
She has two primary divine symbols. Her first is a small shell with a single blue spiral towards the center. It is used to represent her closer to coastal regions where sailors pray to her for calm waters, gentle passage and warm weather. Her other form is a brown wooden Shepard crook wreathed in plant life of all kinds, from deep reds and oranges of fall plants to bright greens of the spring.
Tenets of Faith
Protect the wild places of the world from destruction and overuse. Oppose the rampant spread of cities and empires.
Hunt aberrant monsters and other abominations of nature.
Do not fear or condemn the savagery of nature. Live in harmony with the wild.
Holidays
The Wildmother’s Holy Day is Wild’s Grandeur, and is celebrated on the first days of spring, generally between the 1st and 13th of Uldain's Guard. Her followers celebrate the Wildmother’s strength by going on a journey to a place of great natural beauty, like the top of a mountain waterfall, or the center of a desert. Wild’s Grandeur is rarely celebrated in vast cities, but some folk will plant trees in observance of the holiday.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Melora wishes to repair her fractured relationship with Erathis, and thus repair and bring harmony with civilization again. She also wishes to reconnect with her aspect of the Storm mother, taking it away from Kord who stole it from her in the past. She wishes nature to thrive and to reconnect with her lost followers in the Fey Wild as well as bring lesser aspects of her back into her folds.
