Chokelu Kellellis is the first Provectan Monarch to have died to non-natural causes. During a meeting with the then Nuncio Lucinia Esdras, they both drank Incirie Noir <82> that was spiked with a lethal amount of Luna. This resulted Chokelu's lungs to turn to a wooden like material and his blood become thick and viscous, Chokelu slowly suffocated to death. Due to the Nuncio's praeternatural resistance to poison, Lucinia Esdras was able to survive but had complications from the poison for the rest of her life.
With his death being definitivly that of an assassination, Chokelu legacy is one marred by his successor's failures, known as The Tumultuous Decade; as discourse erupted regarding succession and the desecration of the Kellellis Bloodline.
