78 years ago the world ended, the Dread King emerged from ancient crypts to spill out unspeakable evil alongside his former lieutenants in the form of undead hordes and horrifying mutated monsters.   For three years, his reign lasted, the world was nameless and the remnants of humanity barely continued their existence.   Then, from the blue, a group of heroes known as 'The True Heroes' emerged and destroyed the Dread King.   Since then, the world was reborn and has flourished, renaming itself Alturis and becoming a land of mystery, magic and opportunity. However, the tensions between elected states and Aist mages continue to brew and spill into open conflicts whilst the mysterious entities have once more turned their gaze upon the world.   But despite all of this. Heroes do their best to defend the downtrodden, the story of the world is continually written and some adventuring groups will do the most dangerous of tasks for a payday.   Welcome, to Alturis.
