Calor de Carsival

Calor was a former inquisitor of the Midnight MinistryHe had left his service to settle down on a farm, but when necromancer burned down his farm he decided to once more take up arms against the forces of darkness, but not within the ministry, but as an ghost hunter and exorcist at the Vailhinger Detective Agency

Early Life

Calor was born to Corvinna de Carsival and Laurentius Gauvin in the Raven Tower. After Laurentius betrayed the Carsival family and stole the Seven Seals of Sodosma, Corvinna left Calantor with her son for the countryside. When Calor was six, Corvinna died under mysterous circumstances and he ended up in asn orphanage run by the curch.

The Midnight Ministry

As a youth Calor was recruited into the Midnight Ministry by Father Caleb, a priest involved with running the orphanage where he grew up. Calor showed himself at fighting the many supernatural horrors brought on by the mists.
In 1874 he was part of the force that raided the stronghold of the necromancer Vathek the Whisperer, with Calor dealing the killing blow to the vile sorceror.

Settling Down

Calor had grown sceptical with the fanaticism and cruelt methods he had witnessed within the ministry. When he met and fell in love with a woman named Deheriana he left the Ministry to settle down on a farm close to the orphanage where he grew up. Father Caleb who also had retired from active duty within the Ministry by this time. Sometimes the ageing called upon his old friend to help with supernatural terrors haunting the common folk below the notice of the Ministry Calor and Dehriana did get any children of their own, which pained them. Deheriana spent a lot of time helping out at the orphanage.

The Whisperers Revenge

While Calor was away, helping father Caleb, two of Vatheks apprentices Ivon the Inconspicous and Gideon Eschenhurst came to the farm and burned it to the ground. Calor tracked down Ivon and before killing the necromancer he learned that they were looking for him, for something that had to do with his Carsival heritage. With nothing to tie him to his old home, Calor left for Calantor. Father Caled had an old contact Wolfram Vailhinger who ran a ghost hutning detective agency that could use a man of Calors talents
