Rendali People (Wren-Dahl-Lee)

Rendali - The Gypsy Pirates Renadli Sailors live on the islands alon th coast of Valeria. The are the only ones with the knowlege of sailing and shipbuilding required to cross the Shallow Sea.
Dressed in brightly colored scarves, loose pants, and vests. Some wear long coats covered in embroidery. Their scarves are hung with bangles, bells, and chimes. When the women dance their courting dance, they wear ONLY eils, and remove them as the dance progresses.
Rendali love music, dancing, food, and making love. The only thing that interrupts any of these is their animosity towards pirates and sahagin that trouble the Shallow Sea.
Rendali Sailors are experts in the use of throwing knives, short swords, and hand crossbows. At sny time, a veteran Rendali Sailor might have 12 knives hidden about his/her person, wiht a pair of shrot swords on their back, and a crossbow balancing the quiver of quarrels on their hips. They will remove their swords and crossbows to dance, but never their knives.
Rendali Crews are like big families, and meetings of 2 or more sips always warrant a celebration. The only permanent REndali Settlement is the isle of Ren. Ren is a large, wooded isle with alow mountain in the center. All Rendali children are raised on Ren, ten ar cosen by a captain at ehir coming of age celebration, which is on their 16th birthday. All Rendali women who are pregnant leave their ships to stay on Ren during their pregnancy , then give birth on a barge in the bay, The physical location of Ren is fiercely guarded and protected by the Rendali
Due to their long exposure to the sun, Rendali tend to be fairly tan skinned, they also tend to be dark haired and dark eyed, but can include a multitude of looks from those that are seduced by both the sea and the the intoxicating dance of Rendali women.
